Really???

If I sent you ETT, would you really know if I meant 500, or 100?? What if
I meant 100, and you thought wrongly it was 500?? See what I mean? In other
words, even if I copy ETT correct, log it, you are thinking I should also
have to be a mind reader?

Chuck,

I do believe it is on you. Should the other station have sent something
other than ETE? Probably, but I bet he programmed ETE into his contest
software
before the contest and just hit it every time he needed to give his exchange
or a fill. It stinks for you, because it ruins your rate, but if ETE is
sent, figure it out. If I had a question on that one, I would have sent "505?"
(not AGN?) and if I heard an R, a QSL or a repeat of ETE, I would have logged
505.

Also, please don't take your Q's and go home over a single busted exchange.
Just ask for the fill!

Really? It's on me, during a 150 hour to EU, on a noisy band, to try and
figure out what the hell TTE means? I don't think so. Or, how about this
one--
ETE.

I logged it as sent. If I get dinged, that will be the last time I submit a
log not only for that contest, but for ANY contest that they sponsor.
Period. And, these days, I think they would want to hang on to any contester
 that
is active, as long as he/she follows the rules. And, the rules pretty much
state you log what is sent. And, I heard TTE, ETE, 2K, AK.

We have brains to decode abbreviations, let's use them, or ask for fills or
