get "simpler" software, but this one is the best, and it's free. If you're
less committed, then ask the advice of nearby contesters -- they can put
together a plan for you in a few minutes from memory.
A thousand time NO! ITSHFBC is far too complex for a
beginner to use. Instead consider VE3NEA's HamCAP. It's
an interface which uses ITSHFBC's VOACAP as the computing
engine, but has a much friendlier human interface for beginners.
You must download both VOACAP and HamCAP, but both are free.
