Chris,
I took the comment you quote above as both a bit of humor as well
as a challenge -- and not as a derogatory put-down to single-radio
operators.
But sometimes humor does not translate well on email nor across
cultural/language lines.
And, at least in the US, if you are not running 5 or 6 radios at a time
on a VHF/UHF contest you are probably wasting a lot of time and
most of your brain power! ;-) (Unless, of course, six meters is
wide open!)
