Jim,
I am interested in what special SO2R skills that Jose has that maybe others
don't ?
During my SO2R days it seemed pretty straightforward on how you could use two
radios.
1) CQ on radio #1 and work other stations S&P on radio #2.
2) Alternate CQ's between radio #1 and radio #2 to solicit contacts.
I always used method #1 when I was operating SO2R. It seems to me that all the
good SO2R operators have the skill of being able to copy two CW signals at the
same time. Not everyone
can do this. I also think anyone who does SO2R and loses one of their
frequencies and trys to regain it by using "brute force" is a poor operator.
I'm sorry not to see you in the CW sprint that much anymore. I have been doing
the CW Sprint
(it's my favorite contest) from when it first started and it's sad to lose one
of the "regulars".
