Hello all Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions about my keying problem with the old FT-101E. I was wrong to *assume* that the 2 transistors were saturated - they were not - the 101E takes about 0.5mA to activate the sidetone osc, and about 6.0mA to activate the grid-block keying. Changing the 2 resistors to 1k from 2.2k (with a +9V pull-up supply) has sorted the problem. 73 Chris ZL1CT / GM3WOJ _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
