We're nearing the end of this seemingly endless NS Ladder competition, with Wk
17 (0f 18) on the horizon for this coming Thursday night: 0230-0300Z Friday,
with slow NS (SNS) practice at 0200-0215 on 2o and 40m..
In the Eastern division, it would take an NS X-prize 3000 point score to
displace from W9RE from first place, but he 2nd place spot is a more tightly
contested, with N9CK gaining on Tor, N4OGW.
In the West of Ms Riv division, K7SS has surged ahead of W0BH who was
travelling in VE3 this week, hopefully giving the ON multiplier VA3NR who
reappeared this week after a multi-week absence. Bob will be in either WY or
CO this Thursday so be sure to watch out for his dependable appearance. Sadly,
without Bob at the home QTH there's no KS multiplier in the NS Ladder.
For the NCCC division, Ken N6RO remains way in first place as in all previous
NS Ladder competitions, Ken has an exciting and innovative series of NS
sessions in the planning stages; if you're in earshot, be sure to join Ken for
the NCCC Contest Net now on 3610 immediately following NS Ladder at 0300Z.
In the newcomer division, K9BGL looks like an almost sure winner of the wine
prize.
