The July 2007 PVRC newsletter says that W1AW/4 in the 2007 IARU HF Championship
was a
PVRC - North Carolina chapter operation.

PVRC-NC TO OPERATE AS W1AW/4 IN THE IARU CONTEST!
Thanks to the efforts of Howie, N4AF/NY4A and Jim Jordan, K4QPL, W1AW/4 will
provide
the ARRL Headquarters multiplier from North Carolina, with the PVRC- North
Carolina
Chapter hosting the operation.
The plan is to put as many contest-quality stations in and operators in North
Carolina
on the air to provide 24 hours of non-stop running on as many bands as are open
to
anywhere on both CW and SSB.
Congratulations to Howie and Jim for their hard work!

Subject: [CQ-Contest] W1AW/4 contest QTH?
Does anyone know where W1AW/4 was located for the IARU contest? And is
NU1AW always located in CT for the contest?
