In 1959 it was a three way tie between K6EVR, W5KC, and myself (K5MDX). Since K6EVR was the furthest away he got the trip. W5KC and I got great looking certificates. We also got the Worked all Bermuda award for working all Parishes (9 as I recall). This was a great certificate. Even in 1959 the contest had been around a few years run by Cy VP9L (SK). The activity by VP9 countrymen has fallen almost to zero now since VP9AD closed his big station.
