Hello,

A valuable comment to this came from Ville, OH2MM, some ten plus years
ago in a Finnish ham happening.
Ville has been EA8EA for those who remember that call from 90's. Ville
has also used FY5YE among a few other calls in late 80's.
OH2MM is a medical doctor and was asked the question if a few bananas
would be good nutrition during a contest.

Ville's answer was simple.

Banana has so high in fiber, it cannot be consumed in body.
About a third of the volume will exit your body after some ten to twenty
hours.


My two Euro cents is if you want to eat a banana without a negative
score impact, you can do that maybe 7 hours before the contest end.
