As a guest speaker at last year's Contest University, Dave Pruitt (K8CC)
explained that - as far as the contests that he adjudicates for the ARRL are
concerned - all on-air exchanged information is used to assure that a valid QSO
actually took place. Much to his dismay, the audience broke out in spontaneous
