It will have no effect. To be "assisted" you have spot information
sent to you by a person, either directly over the air, over the phone
or by packet. A bandscope involves no one but you.

Incidentally, for PSK contests, what you describe is already here.
Several PSK programs can decode and print every station on the band,
all at once.
