I agree with you Jim. I think 3650, giving the phone portion 100 khz would
have been a little more realistic. With it changing to 3600, that is going
to force Rtty stations to go probably, as low as 3525. Major RTTY contest
are going to put a squeeze on the weekend 80 meter casual ops, and if there
is a rare DXpedition working split on 80 meters that weekend, that is a
potential problem also. There is no question that the 75m phone could use
more space, but IMO 3650 or even 3625 would have been a better choice. I
know the majority are probably all for 3600, but it's really going to put a
squeeze on the other modes.
