I don't know the specifics beyond what was posted (maybe there is more?), but I
can tell you
that this is a not a Six Sigma project. We are all human and honest mistakes
(including omissions)
occur.
I have been on the CQWW Contest Committee for, what, decades (plural)? My log
(not my team entry)
has been "lost" or put in the wrong category (and it was new USA record
too)....and I'm on the
committee!
And...I can factually state that the same thing has happened to me with the
ARRL...
I set a new record in one of their contests one year (10m contest) and they
"missed" my log (even
though they had it..and published my "correction" in the VHF contest results...
how many HF contesters do you think read that?).
The point is, Read Jim's Chapter 16!
