<5KHz spacing which is what CONTESTERS need. In a contest, you're often
<2KHz away from your nearest neighboor (on phone) and less than 500Hz
away on CW.
I experienced that radio congestion in Silicon Valey at WRTC-1996 and nowhere
else!
However, Sherwood myths are good for selling add-on filters all the way to 70
MHz IF.
Also makes single low IF superhets "made in USA" like K2 and Orion look good.
Who cares about HF image frequency or discrete DDS birdies in SDR...
