If you don't plan to operate in the CW Sweepstakes this weekend, you
can still have a lot of fun by getting on the air for an hour or two
on Sunday and calling cq ss. It will only take a few minutes for one
of the numerous "Unlimited" (assisted) Class operators to spot you on
packet, and then you will be on the receiving end of a nice pileup. It
will last for about an hour, because you will continue to appear on
their bandmaps for about that length of time. The SO2R unassisted ops
will also quickly find you, and you will persist on their bandmaps
too.
When the rate slows down, then you can drag out your wife's callsign
or your club callsign and start it all over again!
For all you "Unlimited" or multi-op guys out there, please spot all of
your S&P qso's on Sunday. It will make it more fun for everyone! K1TTT
tells me there is plenty of bandwidth on the cluster network, and the
DX'ers can set their filters so they are not bothered by all of the
domestic spots.
