DL8MBS> About the "important issue"-topic: I guess those contests will gain
popularity that are more family-friendly for the big "middle-generation" between studying-times and retirement. 24 out of 48 hours or time regimes like in Makrothen are valuable offers. Rational Swedes introduced long time ago contest with 3 x 8 hours of operating with 2 x 8 hours pauses. Also fair scoring based on WW locator fields. All Asian has interesting exchange of ages, SCC year of first license. Serial numbers might be default but there is legacy curse of CQ and ITU zones, W/VE states and other peculiarities. Fortunately Bill Gates provided us with a cheap computers! Volonteers with databeses. Dull it isn't! 73 de Mario, S56A, N1YU zone 15 _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
