That's strange Tom:
In North Texas (although I tuned in too late for it to
matter) so I just listened in and tuned around a lot.
I was hearing signals even from Canada between S-8 and
S-45.
In fact my receiver (IC-728) even over loaded a couple of
times because of a guy in Oklahoma with a really strong
signal on 80 and I had to use the PBT and 20db attenuator
to slap it back in line.
Signals all over the bands here.

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
