I've got my Alpha-Delta Sloper at 35' at the high end (on a TV tower
with an R-5 on top with a direct ground wire to 10' ground rod) and
terminating 6' above the ground on a wooden fence post. Works fine when
compared to the Alpha-Delta DX-LB Plus (160-10) at 40'. Changing the
sloper orientation changes the ability of the autotuner to tune all
bands. Don't forget the coax choke at feedpoint. Found from experience
it's needed as is the separate ground wire. Handles a KW.
