So sad to see the end of an era. Rush has been an icon to a lot of us. Many
very talented operators passed through the chairs at RM.
Indeed, W2PV and K2GL stations ended their existence after their owners
passed away. (K2GL property was in another class, but W2PV was doable.)
Just wonder, all those operators that enjoyed "drive in" hospitality could
not scrape 280k to buy it and keep it W7RM memorial club station? Or someone
with slightly bigger share, live there and other to chip in? You can't go wrong
with it as real estate deal. Maybe he would leave the towers and antennas.
Just a thought.
