That depends on the "culture" at the manufacturing plant, and I'm not
speaking solely of ICOM here. Some plants want that new product out
come hell or high water, they want it out NOW! Only later do they
refine the product to what it should have been all along.
Others do just the opposite; they fuss over the first run to make them
as perfect as possible and may slack off later when complacency sets in.
The point is, one can not generalize. I've seen it both ways.
