As mentioned in our 3830 score posting, K4JA put up a new
195 foot 40M tower and two 4 element 48' boom K3LR OWA yagis to
replace the 40M tower he lost in Tropical Storm Isabel in
September. This tower was erected the day of ARRL DX CW
and completed just 20 minutes before the contest began.
The tower went up in two sections, one 100', the another
95' on top of that.
I've just finished putting a photo gallery online that has
over 150 photos chronicling this event.
