I agree that leading zeros are a waste - but I think you will find that
many of those sending them are using versions of CT where they have not
"suppressed" the leading zeros.... ALSO - AS IN ANY CONTEST, send everything once - and only once, if a repeat is needed it will be requested... sending something twice when it may n ot be needed is a waste of time for both the sender AND the receiver... this frequently does indeed tie in with Q and A guys who are certain they are weak and think that sending pieces of the exchange multiple times helps... a lot of times if they were to hear their signals I think they would realize their self "fears" are unfounded... With xtal filters and audio processing usually 95 percent plus of guys I work in a contest are no problem to copy. There is nothing wrong with requesting a repeat, but sending information twice is NOT in the spirit of contesting! I think that we almost might be on the verge of acceptance of the West Central Florida multiplier - was only asked section? about 10 times this weekend... still need ot do some education along those lines... mebbe in SS SSB. 73, Jim, K4OJ
