Has anyone had any luck getting decent audio from the stock electret microphone element in the David Clark H10-40 Headset? I got decent audio from mine using my Ten-Tec Paragon, but when I tried it with a TS-950 it sounded awful (very distorted). In both cases I was using 12V DC bias with a 1.8K series resistor, and a 47uF blocking capacitor to power the electret mic. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mike, W4EF |
