don't bet on it. i had stateside jammers tx on both cw and ssb on my
listening frequency while doing split on 75m last year. one of them thought
he was cute and started calling cq on ssb with my callsign on my listening
frequency(out of our phone band of course)... it was funny because i also
listened to his buddies who were near my tx frequency commenting that they
recognized the voice of the jammer. i got a phone call from someone asking
why i was calling cq down there and as soon as he heard my voice he knew it
wasn't me.
the best part was that when no one came back to my real cq i would start
sending reports to the calls that the 20m station was running at the time, got
those guys all upset and i still had a decent rate right through them by
listening on very directional beverages.
