Yes, I have heard it both in contests and in DX pileups.
On Sunday afternoon I heard someone doing that on a contester who was
trying to run stations. He was so much louder than the interferer,
though, that it wasn't much of a problem. These guys just can't do much
to a big-time contest station's signal.
