Heck of an idea!
Perhaps the robot engineers could add a subroutine that compiles a mailing
list from incoming e-mail submissions that could then be used (in late Oct.
for SS, for example) to shotgun mail the previous year's participants.
Nothing gets me thinking CQP more than the individual mailings from AD6E,
and we all know how successful CQP is.
Oh, and Jim, how long till FQP?
In all seriousness, though, this represents the kind of marketing savvy that
contesting needs.
