Nine months ago one could have made the suggestion that the final SS scores
be prepared and ready to go onto the Web site in mid-January rather than
waiting until mid-April when the results article was going to be needed by
the printer.
In that context a 30-to-15 day change would also have made sense. And it
would have raised the same issues now being brought up in regards to
accommodating paper logs and disks arriving via the mail and the loss of
schedule margin for dealing with anomalies.
