I know what you mean. I guess it makes little sense to use:
Sails in the age of boats with motors,
Pianos in the age of electronic keyboards,
Cotton in the age of polyester,
Gas stoves in the age of microwave ovens,
Hardy Boys in the age of Harry Potter,
Cash in the age of credit cards,
The local hardware store in the age of Home Depot,
Religion in the age of paganism,
Mozart in the age of Brittney Spears,
Eyeglasses in the age of laser surgery,
Actually going shopping in the age of buying on-line,
and books in the age of computers.
Anything old is bad. Anything new is not only better, but should replace
the old, and nobody should use the old anymore. Cuz it's old. Anyone who
does is just... well... old-fashioned, and is holding back the hobby from
progressing.
I can't believe the chairman made those comments, if he did make those
comments. Isn't it Colin Powell's son, or am I thinking of somebody else?
Dave, where did you get this information?
