There is a tradition of High Speed CW competition in EU pursued mainly in the
East.

S5 wanted to be different. N0SS did Dayton type CW pile-up, S57AW did a lot of
cut & paste from real radio SSB signals for phone tape.
5 minutes 100 calls simulated pile-up is a good test of CW copying skills while
48 hours real contest has a lot to do with stamina.
DSP made me humble some 10 years ago as PC did a better CW job in both
competitions. It even beats me in chess...
