Gary W0TM has a good CT checklist on his Website at:
http://www.w0tm.com/w0tmoper.htm
Click on the dot before "CT operating aid" and you can download .pdf
pages in Word suitable for printing templates including command summaries.
Here are W0TM's settings:
Initial setup
1. Set computer to GMT time and date
2. Go to DOS prompt
3. C:\CD\CT
4. Load FT1000MP and network TSRs
5. File name of contest .bin
6. Comm settings FT1000MP and network
7. Insert blank floppy and start AutoSave
8. Set desired Text Commands:
SetLat, Beep, Colors, NoWorkDupe, Run/mult,
I paste this on the computer monitor I use for contests
If you are using CT9 and need to correct times because of a bad clock
or date, there is a utility called ct_time.zip at the K1EA Website:
ct_time.zip at http://www.k1ea.com/ct9/index.htm
"Fixes time errors in log, corrects all QSOs by a fixed amount of time"
If you ever make this mistake once (as I have), you will always
remember to check your time and date BEFORE the contest!
