Hello Ken!

After reading masses of emails about this issues I don't know what to think,
is it:

a) our English is very bad (well, W6OAT read the criteria before we
published it)
or
b) are US clubs thinking this issue too complicated?
or
c) some other reason

(As I have read the emails, I think you have understood the rules)

Process:

1) 13 clubs give us 10 calls ( 5 West, 5 East) - they can use tea leaves,
past results, or whatever they want to select 10 who they think are the best
to be as Team USA captains
2) we will rank all club selections, giving one point to each operator
3) 10 the "highest scorers" (5 West, 5 East) will be selected as team
captains - if one selected is not able to attend WRTC2002, we will contact
to next in the list
4) Team Captains select their team mate (anywhere from US)

5) Organization selects two US teams from those who have sent their "wild
card application"
6) Dan and Jeff can already buy their flight tickets :)
