Perhaps the WPX should be moved up a weekend to remove the conflict.

It is really sad that a few participants have to spread the word instead
of having the contest sponsors do the work.
I am looking forward to testing my new 80 meter antenna during the
event. Look for me starting at 0200Z.

The FQP Web page shows FQP happening THIS Weekend!! Not next month.
Announcements on this list have also indicated the same.
As a reminder the NEBRASKA QSO PARTY is also this weekend! Almost during
the same time period as FQP. Maybe we'll fix that next year so it isn't
"almost" the same time. I like their idea of "contest sleep time"!
We won't have every county on the air, but it probably won't take much to
win your state (& a certificate) either!! While S&Ping this weekend, keep
a separate log of NE & FL stations. Probably easier to keep Nebraska's NQP
log on paper and FL on the computer if you use one at all. NQP stations
will be a little rarer to find, but we'll be there. If this little "bug"
I've caught doesn't go away by then, I'll be on CW only. ;^)
Look for NQP info at the Heartland DX Association page on the NQP link:
http://www.qsl.net/hdxa
Look for KK0DX to be mobile in Nebraska.
K0AIR SAC Memorial club will be active.
K0USA AK-SAR-BEN (Nebraska backwards) ARC also active.
And many members for HDXA from Lancaster, Douglas, Washington, Sarpy, Cass,
and many other counties in Eastern Nebraska will be active. Perhaps
someone from a nearby state (WY, SD, KS) might want to go mobile and give
out some rare western and northern NE counties as well.
Hope to work you all this weekend!
