Please read "Who is in control of your Field Day Station" at the ARRL website Field Day Package. It does talk about an Extra Class operator using a Novice licensee's station, but it does not refer to the Novice station at a larger Field Day site, as does PP. 4.1.1. It is a little confusing, but the Field Day rules stand, and I stand corrected.
