Subject: [CQ-Contest] Last Hour Dayton Visitor!!
Message-ID: <00b601bfaf34$09c922c0$8116d2c8@vitor>

Hello friends of cq-contest reflector First of all, many
thanks to people from Philadelphia, specially N3BNA,
N3RS and K3WW, who will be QRV for us (PU2VYT
my wife, and me) during our trip to that historical city,
May 15-18. Those men was fantastic, answering and
giving us all attention. THANKS !! Now, another help
call... We will go to Hamvention, and hotels very close
of Dayton are full. We are thinking to stay in other places
30-50 km of Dayton, but would be more interesting to listen
some of you, residents in USA or even in that region.
Any help with hotel names and phone numbers will be
welcome, and please with a copy to jo@acoriana.com.br
In 1996 we were at Vandalia Airport Hotel, and 1998 we
were at Days Inn South, Miamisburg. Was fine.
Ana (PU2VYT) and me are thinking to use all the
day at Hamvention and maybe going to Crowne Plaza for
"after-dinner" talk hour, returning to rest at night, driving no
more than 50 km. Any sugestion? Don't forget to send
copy to jo@acoriana.com.br
Thanks again to everybody that help us via reflector.
Will be nice to talk about DX and contesting, including
our participation in ZX5J effort for WPX CW contest...
Best 73 from PY2NY - Vitor

Subject: [CQ-Contest] NE QSO Party THIS WEEKEND!
Message-ID: <01BFAEDF.61E375A0.k0il@uswest.net>

Don't forget!

  Nebraska QSO Party THIS WEEKEND!

1700 zulu Saturday to 1700 zulu Sunday
sponsored by the Heartland DX Association of Nebraska & Iowa.

For rules, details and paperwork go to:
 http://www.qsl.net/hdxa/neqso/

Special Stations to look out for:

Ni0DX (Heartland DX Assoc.) will be operated by K0FG-Fred who will be
mobile giving out many "rare" Nebraska counties.

K0USA (Ak-Sar-Ben ARC) will be operating on Saturday in Douglas County as a
Special Event from a booth at the 20 Grand Theater where they'll be showing
the movie "Frequency" http://www.frequencymovie.com opening that weekend!
That is assuming we don't create any RFI! (BTW: if you haven't seen this
movie yet, you're really missing out!) They'll also be running ATV &
Packet on VHF/UHF locally.

Work all of the Nebraska, Florida & Ontario stations that you can then sort
them afterward and send in all the logs. Those of you who've recently
upgraded, now's your chance to pick up Nebraska on all bands! It'll never
be this easy again.

Just Call "CQ N-F-O Q-P" or maybe F-O-N Q-P or O-N-F Q-P! Just do it!

73,
de ed -K0iL
