My thoughts on this matter are that having paid the penalty, Herb
should have been renewed.
But what bothers me more is the legal precedent set when the
Court affirmed the FCC refusal on the basis of his felony
conviction. And in all honesty, a felony is a felony. But
consider this, what happens when some disgruntled individual with
nothing better to do demands the FCC check the criminal records
of all of us, and revoke all those who have been convicted?
And no, I haven't. Am I barking up the wrong tower?
