I do this with ONE radio (TS-940) and switch the VFOs back and forth.
VFO A is the run freq (always) and VFO B is the S&P freq.
More useful if the CQ rate is down.
Even if I have packet, I tune around with the "other" VFO. I still do SOME
work myself, hi.
Yes, it's a bit hectic, but that's what contesting is!
