I believe another good reason why the /QRP should be copied and logged that way is that the sending station may well want the fact that he contacted us on the QSL. And regarding the fact that we may mistype QRP as QRO, QRL or anything else, the trap for any of them is so simple as to be a matter of an additional line of code. An excellent point was made that the software for checking us is not our responsibility.
