Had relatives in town so I couldn't make a serious effort at the WW SSB, but
I did make about 240 QSOs. During which, I decided to try a little
experiment. Every time I heard a station QRZ without giving their call, I
made a note of it - and then stuck around until they did ID. In this
period, I staked out 27 non-IDers. 17 of them (63%) were dupes -- and I
only had 240 QSOs in the log. A serious waste of time on my part - and
theirs. C'mon guys, does it *really* take that much longer to say "X39X"
instead of "QRZ"? Especially when there's a 60% chance the next caller will
be a dupe???
