The TH7 uses the same boom to mast bracket as the 204BA ( think )....
That has a flat vertical plate which another aluminum plate that is bent
into a "U" shape mates with, capturing the boom between them.
Why not mount this flat surface against the existing flat surface of the
Bertha pole's plate? Flat surface to flat surface is the combination least
likely to screw up....and since the beam is already QRV for the
manufacturer's hdwe minimal other work would be necessary...
Eliminate the two toothed cast pieces of the original boom to mast assy
from the equation....(give you ten bucks for 'em Scott)....
Mount the HyGain hardware to the boom such that you will end up with a flat
vertical surface (you may need to change over to a flat head/countersunk
screw versus a machine bolt to do this on the hdwe which holds those two
aluminum shapes together.
After doing this use the location of the holes which would have held the
four long bolts, that would have gone through the two cast pieces, as
locations for where you need to put four holes in the existing plate on the
Bertha, then mount the two
plate to plate
with four bolts .....voila.
