that is common on 10 and 15m on the east coast to europe.
when the flux isn't quite high enough to support the more
northerly path direct to europe we get backscatter off the
south atlantic. this last weekend we were beaming almost
due south to work europe on 10m and sunday 15m started to
the south east then opened direct a bit later.
