HI,
This message is for those who still "DON'T BELIEVE IN CHEATING".
Today I played with two radios during UBA SSB Contest (very popular here in
Europe) and found a station (let me name it *****) on 7058 being busy
giving numbers 237, 238, 239, etc... Few minutes later I accidentally found
the same station on 14228, BUT!.. giving numbers 228, 229, etc.
I called the guy on 40m, received #248 from him and ask him which category
is he in (I know there's no MULTI-MULTI category in this Contest).
He answered: "SINGLE OP - ALL BANDS" (!)
All this time the 20m station continued to run on 14228 and last number
I heard he gave was 253.
I told "40 m" guy about this situation, but he suddenly began "not hear"
me, calling "CQ Contest" all the time and didn't answer me. But "20 m"
guy stopped calling "CQ" and disappeared (later on I found him S&P).
It lasted from 15:26 to 15:31 UTC, when I switch off my radio.
So, what we have here? "Rubber clock" in "Single Op" entry?
I have the station's callsign. It's well known.
Any comments?
