Dear fellow contesters!
The Contest Club Finland (CCF) meeting in Helsinki 18-Jan-1998 was a big
success. Although everything happened on a very short notice, there
were finally about 85 (!) contesters/DXers from OH, W, HA, YL and SM
participating the meeting, enjoying the presentations as well as the
good company of the "right-minded"! ;-)
We are also very happy about all the e-mails and phone calls received
from all over the world (W, VK, CE, UA, DL, ES, etc.) indicating that
there was quite a lot more interest to this meeting also outside
Finland...!
It seems quite obvious there is a "social need" for this type of
contest / DX meetings not only here in Finland and it's neighbouring
countries, but around the whole contesting world.
