I've had the same trouble with my TS950SDX and the MFJ cable.
The 950 must be run at 4800 baud, no parity, 8 data bits, 2 stop bits .
Nothing else works!
My MFJ cable was wired wrong (pins 2 & 3 reversed on the DIN connector).
CT9 requires loading a special serial communications program before running
CT. I think its called COMTSRx where "x" is the com port you use for the
radio. That also has to be configured for 4800 baud, N82. If anything is set
up wrong, nothing works.
When it does work, its nice. However, it has never been reliable for me and
I've given up trying to make it work. All it takes is one little mis-
communication burp and CT grinds to a halt. Very poor.

sure if I have a wrong parameter...can't find any info in my ct manual..as
to the baud rate and other settings to use with ct and TS850S...any
contestor out there in reflector land with any ideas???
