I feel that the score of those who wish to "operate out of the norm" be
marked with an asterisk in the score listings. They be given the paper
or plaque for their "WIN" with notation on the certificate, but the next
place person (the one without the asterisk) be also given the same paper
or plaque.
There are those type-A personalities among us who will "Push the
Envelope" or interpret the rules any way they wish so that they be given
some advantage that others may not have. These are the same type of
people who, when you and everyone else is sitting in traffic on an
interstate highway that is going from THREE lanes down to ONE because
of construction, will pull out on the right hand "break down lane" and
zip past everyone who is merging. If there is no police around (never
is), they get away with it.....
---OR ---as this guy pulls out to the right lane in his little WHITE
Honda (or BMW) and gets met with a wad of chewing tobacco on his
windshield, hood, door etc. may just get the idea that deviating from
the norm has its drawbacks, and they really aren't getting away with
what they thought they did..
Sure, they will be angry for a while, but any reasonable person would
get the message and then learn to play nice in the sandbox.....
The only problem is how do you deliver this "message" from your drivers
seat without getting the inside of YOUR car messed up?
