Ah me...you just can't get away with ANYTHING these days. The N2AA/K2GL "consistant wins" was also broken in 1986 by N5AU, the first time a station from Texas won M/M in the CQWW contest. That should be a source of inspiration to all you "black-holers;" it CAN be done!
