But nothing written about this contest ever claimed it was
a DX contest! It is just a prefix working contest. Nevertheless,
I agree that if intracountry contacts are raised from 0 to 1 point,
then the point "spread" for intracontinent but international and
intercontinental/international contacts should be raised by some
value to increase the desire to work DX. I wonder how many points
an Asian Turkish station gets for working a European Turkish station?

Now if I would sit in a country that had the highest HF activity and also the
highest
prefix count in the world and all QSOs gave 1 point I surely wouldn´t try very
hard
to work into other continents/countries. a set up like this surely dosent sound
like
a world wide competition. Now I know its next to impossible to have a system
that
makes it fair for all but this would be a step in the wrong direction.
