Top Ten Reasons Why KG5U Went to Seattle for Christmas:

10. To visit his mom, sister, and niece, all of whom he hadn't seen in =
three years.

9. To lose the other half of his round-trip ticket

8. To escape the freezing temperatures of Houston

7. To shovel snow and hack ice from the porch and sidewalk of his =
sister's house.=20

6. To learn how to shift from 2- to 4-wheel drive in a Jimmy.

5. To dig snow out from under and manually push other people's cars out =

4. To dig ice and snow out from under and manually push other people's =
cars out of snow while HIS feet are in six inches of COLD water (that's =
snowmelt, folks...the day AFTER number 5, above!!)

3. To drive 200 miles over snowy, icy roads to stand in snow in =
freezing temperatures along the Skagit River watching two bald eagles =

I saw mention of an NA reflector. Is there a reflector
of list for users of CT? TIA

Help! I plan on working the NAQP (for the first time) and discovered
that CT (which is the only contest logging program I've ever used) does
not appear to support that contest. I'm not familiar with what's out
there that DOES support NAQP. Any suggestions as to which type of
software and a source for same? I'd like to get it ASAP in order to
become familiar with it prior to the contest. Thanks for the help.

You have 2 choices: NA and TR

If you are used to CT, you'll probably like NA because it retains almost
all of the same function keys and principles of operation as CT.

TR is the other choice...it's probably a little more automated and powerful
than NA, but it's a LOT different in operation, so you'll need some time to
get used to it.

NA is handled by LTA (K3LR) at 330 565-9950
TR is handled by K5TR - George Fremin at 512 416-7010

Both are about $60 and come with a very good hard copy manual.
