Hi Claudio:

The first paragraph above says, "it can only log new multipliers for CREDIT".
Doesn't this mean that, of course, you should log ALL stations contacted, but
assign 0 POINTS to all NON MULTIPLIER Q's? That is MY interpretation anyway!

Do you still need a DVP card or will a soundblaster work?

I bought my CT DVP card 2 years ago and got the cables at the same time.
It's possible the cable is still available from whomever is distributing
the CT program and DVP board. Purchasing the "factory" made cable was
more convenient for me. It provides all the necessary connectors for
mic, ptt, earphones and footswitch.

hi!

just want to share my experience. i bought CT 9.0 when it came out,
and then wanted a DVP, too. i bought the k1ea board, and cables for
my ICOM radio. yes, i surely could have built the cables, and yes, i
probably could have programmed a sound blaster board to provide
audio, and yes, i probably could have designed and built a DVP card,
too... but i wanted to go contesting!

the board arrived with good documentation. i hooked everything up,
and it *ALL* worked, first time, no sweat. for me, it was some bucks
well-spent.

usual disclaimer... this ain't a commercial, just a single experience
from a single (satisfied) customer.

Well, if you have the money but not the skill, just go
and hire some former Soviet Spetsnaz (Special
Forces) soldiers to cut your competitor's cables!
