Now that we're safely past WPX CW and the last major DX contest, I'm
repeating my request for your continental breakdowns from all of the major
contests this season. These are the files that show the percentage of
your QSOs for each continent. I'm primarily interested in the CQ WW files
(both modes), but any of the ARRL or WPX files would also be of interest.
What am I doing with them? I'm preparing an article for CQ Contest that
will show how the percentages of continental shares changes across North
America. I'll be using commercial mapping/graphing software with a
spreadsheet to make some interesting graphics on a state-by-state basis.
The quality of the analysis and the usefullness of the figures will depend
on how many files I can get from you guys and gals out there.
Because the analysis will be done on the state/province level, I need you
to include your QTH in the files. Just add a line to the effect "N0AX -
WA" at the beginning of each file. If you leave it out, I'll look you up
in the callbook, but please save me the extra work.
Again, I need YOUR continental breakdown files from any of this season's
DX contests, CW or SSB. Email them to me as soon as you can...I'd like to
get this done for the July 1st article deadline.
Thanks to you all who have sent me files already, but I need MORE MORE
MORE!
73, and thanks in advance!
