Hasn't the United Nations put Fish Head Gas on List of Banned Chemicals
under that International Warfare Treaty or something?

I'm trying to finish the NAQP SSB writeup tonight and need N3IXR's line
score from January 96 NAQP SSB -- the file he sent me is unreadable.
I've sent a couple of notes direct, but no response yet. If someone sees
this who can call him so I can get the info tomorrow <Tuesday, 3/25>, I'd
appreciate it.
Apologies for the bandwidth; this is a CONTESTing semi-emergency.

Yes Chuck! He can only operate in this range (28300-28500). Brazilian Law
had phohibited for many many years the C Class (a kind of American Novice
Class) operation on 10 meters SSB, but it changed in December 1994. The C Class
examinitation is codeless.
Everytime you work a "PU" station make sure he is a C Class.
He already knows that you and K5MM will look for him and is happy about that!

Hello Dave...
Maybe you should start thinking about a SECOND tower to put that
Yaesu G1000SDX rotor into...

Yep, it is worthless! So just box it up and send it out here and
I will dispose of it for you!
The last time I checked the original heads Philadelphia Resin
supplied were no longer available. But it is possible to use
a Spelter Socket (both open and closed are available from
Crosby and from other companies). The socketfast blus was
still available the last time I checked.
The spelter sockets are more expensive than one would believe
but at least they require less of the potting compound. Ones for
11,000 pound rated Philly were pushing $20 each a couple of
years ago. Probably somewhat less for smaller material. There
are foreign made ones available at a small discount.
I have some 3/8 EHS equivalent Philly on my rotating tower. The
guys were made of the original material and were used on a
broadcast tower before I picked them up. They used Spelter
Sockets and they have been in use with my big antennas for a
number of years.
You can get Crosby products through local distribution or
the address I have is in Tulsa, OK. 918-834-4611 (from an old
catalog--hope it is still current)

The real answer to tower safety and belts is the new Dr. Bafoofnik
Bungy Belt. It has a money back guarantee if you survive the fall.
The velcro enclosures are being approved upon and hopefully when the
Beta tester gets out of the hospital the belt will be available
and ready for Dayton!
Sincerely your,
Dr. Bafoofnik
